Clutch Direct – Terms and Conditions of Sale


Warranty Terms

Clutch Direct Pty Ltd warrants that all products sold are free from defects in material and workmanship. Each product is warranted against defects in material or workmanship that cause the product to perform below reasonable expectations.

  • Coverage: Clutch Direct Pty Ltd will, at its sole option, repair or replace any Clutch Direct branded products supplied by it which are found to be defective, provided Clutch Direct Pty Ltd is notified in writing by the customer within 2 years from the date of purchase, or whichever period is provided by the clutch producer.

  • Third-Party Products: Products sourced from third-party suppliers are subject to the warranty provided by those manufacturers. Details are available on request.


Warranty Exclusions

Clutch Direct Pty Ltd is not a mechanical workshop. We do not warrant the installation work of third-party mechanical businesses installing our products.

  • Please ensure you order the correct parts. Return of a product in an unused condition will attract a 17.5%–25% restocking and administrative fee, where Clutch Direct is not at fault.

  • Clutch Direct will not be held responsible for delays that occur in the supply of its products.

The above warranty will not apply where:
    1. The product has not been correctly installed, or evidence of misuse or negligence is evident.
    2. The product has been modified without prior approval.
    3. The product is used beyond the expectations of the original vehicle manufacturer.
    4. The product is no longer required, incorrectly chosen by the customer, or the customer has changed their mind (see Return and Refund Process for discretionary policy).


Return and Refund Process

  • As per Australian Consumer Law, we are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind.

  • In all cases where returns are accepted for change of mind or change of customer circumstance, Clutch Direct will issue store credit only.

  • All return requests must be made in writing to sales@clutchdirect.com.au and approved before the item is returned.

Restocking Fees

  • Approved returns within 30 days of purchase: $30 restocking fee applies.

  • Approved returns between 30 and 90 days: 17% restocking fee (minimum $30) applies.

  • Approved change-of-mind returns outside of these rules may incur a 17.5%–25% restocking and administrative fee.

  • No returns will be accepted after 90 days of purchase.

Brand-Specific Conditions

The following brands can only be returned with written approval from Clutch Direct and, in all cases, incur a 17% restocking fee:
    • Mantic
    • NPC Performance
    • Uniclutch
    • Competition Clutch
    • Bremtec
    • RDA

The following brands cannot be returned once shipped:
    • Bendix Ultimate Brake Kits
    • NPC Performance Twin Plate Clutch Kits
    • Xtreme Performance Twin Plate Kits

Cancellations Prior to Dispatch

  • Orders cancelled before they are shipped are subject to a 7% administrative fee.

  • Where cancellation relates to a change of mind or change of customer circumstance, store credit only will be issued.

Important:

  • If a product has been fitted, it cannot be returned.

  • No products are to be returned without prior written consent.

  • All return postage costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.
